Who We Are
We’re Paul Lakey and Yu-Hsiu Camille Chen — principals with decades of experience in leadership, international business, and growth strategy.
We founded Tempo Advisory to deliver thoughtful, clear-eyed strategy to clients who value clarity, trust, and long-term perspective.

Paul Lakey is a senior advisor with more than 30 years’ experience across property development, infrastructure, and construction.
He serves as a Commissioner of the Western Australian Planning Commission, Chair of Foundation Housing, and non-executive director of Bethanie Group, JDSI Consulting, and Legend Media Group.
A former President of UDIA (WA), Paul has also held board positions with DevelopmentWA, LandCorp, and the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority.
He holds an Honours degree in Civil Engineering, is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Project Management, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Yu-Hsiu Camille Chen is a strategic advisor with a background in cross-cultural communication, creative leadership, and international co-production.
With more than twenty years’ experience in film and media, she brings a distinctive perspective to advisory work spanning culture, business, and innovation. Camille combines entrepreneurial experience with cultural fluency to help clients navigate strategic, narrative, and regional complexity.
She is active in the Australia–China business community, serving on the Executive Committee of the Australia China Business Council (WA) and chairing its Culture and Media Subcommittee.
