Paul Lakey

Executive Director

Paul Lakey is a strategic board director and property executive with more than 30 years’ experience spanning property development, housing, infrastructure, and construction across Australia, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

He has held executive, governance, and advisory roles across listed, private, government, and not-for-profit organisations, contributing to the design, delivery, and financial performance of major projects including master planned communities, mixed-use precincts, residential developments, and hotels.

Paul currently serves as a Commissioner with the Western Australian Planning Commission and Chair of the Board of Foundation Housing, and is a Non-Executive Director of Bethanie Group, JDSI Consulting, and Legend Media Group. His previous board roles include DevelopmentWA, the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority, and LandCorp, and he has served as President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA) and a member of its National Board.

He holds an Honours degree in Civil Engineering and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Project Management, as well as a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
